    Jessica Lenahan-Gonzales v. Town of Castle Rock (2005)

    The incident and case with Jessica Gonzales v. Castle Rock is where it all started with the SCOTUS ruling where law enforcement is NOT constitutionally obligated to serve and protect the citizens. This ruling was used and cited with the judge ruling against Joe Lozito when he attempted to sue NYC. The incident with Jessica Gonzales took place in 1999.
